Overview
It all started over a beer.
In early 2023, just as ChatGPT was gaining buzz, we were already collaborating with KB&B, a German marketing agency specialized in family and kids' brands. One evening, during a casual conversation, the idea struck: what if AI could help kids create their own stories?
We built a quick prototype using Make and Fillout, showing how easily personalized stories could be generated. We shared it with KB&B, who instantly saw the potential—not just as a fun consumer tool, but as a powerful B2B marketing platform for brands.
From this seed, StoryWonder was born: an AI-powered, audio-first storytelling app where children can create customized adventures featuring their family—and their favorite brands.

Challenge
KB&B faced three major obstacles in bringing this vision to life:
- Manual storytelling ideas couldn’t scale to thousands of users
- Brands needed a way to safely and efficiently test integration without heavy dev work
- Parents preferred low-screen-time, audio-first experiences over visual-heavy apps
Solution
✅ Launched an MVP in weeks
Used Make and Airtable to rapidly prototype story generation flows, validating the concept with early users and client presentations.
✅ Developed a brand-safe test portal
Built a private portal with Softr + Airtable for brands to test prompts, characters, and workflows—without touching production.
✅Built StoryWonder with FlutterFlow + Firebase
Developed a scalable mobile app for iOS and Android. Flexible, fast, and easy to iterate on, with a clean UX for kids and parents.
✅ Shifted to audio-first UX
Parents wanted less screen time. So we redesigned the experience to generate personalized audio stories in real time, like a kid-friendly podcast.
✅ Added intelligent moderation
Every user input is automatically moderated to guarantee age-appropriate content.
✅ Created customizable story logic
Kids can select participants (mom, dad, siblings, friends…), choose worlds and story ideas—while the backend tailors each adventure on demand.
